Certified Value Appraisals: Protect your investment of Time and Money. There are a great many insurance companies that will cover your collector car or vehicle with Comprehensive and Collision coverage. However, many will tell you that your vehicle will be covered for “actual cash value” or “book value” (IE: they decide what your vehicle is “worth” at the time of a claim) unless you have provided an proper and current appraisal. The best way to be sure that your car is protected properly is to have a professional vehicle valuation appraisal on file with your insurance company and have an endorsement to your policy indicating the type and/or amount of coverage your vehicle has. Not all companies offer this coverage; however, our appraisals are accepted by all insurance companies Our appraisal will also be of immense help if you’re hit by the driver of some other insurance company or if that driver is uninsured. Without an appraisal, an unqualified person or claims adjuster who is unfamiliar with your vehicle, may be determining how much you are going to collect at the time of a loss.
TIP: Did you know that during restoration or storage in your own garage or in a remote location, your vehicle is NOT covered for fire/theft under your homeowners policy? (Only your automobile policy protects your car) Protect your investment!

Certified Pre-Purchase Inspection & Value Appraisals: Buying a Collector Vehicle?: A Certified Pre-Purchase Inspection and Value Appraisal protects you by having the vehicle inspected and appraised BEFORE you buy. I do a 120+ point visual and operational inspection (with road test) plus we determine the fair market value before you pay out any cash. This will protect you from buying a vehicle and then finding out it was not completely as represented. This will also protect you from overpaying for a vehicle. The report includes 20+ pictures and two typed copies of the report suitable for use in establishing insurance and/or loan value. It can also make a seller more reasonable in the asking price. We have saved many buyers from making major mistakes and also helped other buyers negotiate a fair deal on an overpriced vehicle.

Certified Pre-Accident Value Appraisal:: In the event of an accident, the other party’s insurance company is going to try to settle the claim at the lowest possible amount. If you do not have a Certified Vehicle Value Appraisal, they will base the value on the “book” value which is much lower than your vehicle is really worth. Also in the event that you have not updated your vehicles value with your insurance company, the pay out will be based on the last agreed value which is often lower than the current value based on the market conditions and vehicle improvements. A Pre-Accident Valuation Appraisal can held you in your quest for a fair settlement. We determine the value of the vehicle BEFORE the accident.
TIP: Having a current Certified Vehicle Value Appraisal on file is always best and negates the potential for arguing about the vehicles value or cost to repair. It is harder to document and determine a vehicles condition after it is damaged. This can impact the value.

Certified Pre-Sales Value Appraisals/ Pre-Auction Appraisals: Selling a Collector Vehicle? An Pre-Sales or Pre-Auction Value Appraisal can be a tremendous help when selling a collector vehicle. First, it eliminates a lot of haggling or “negotiating” because the vehicle’s fair market value and condition has been established by a neutral professional party. For auctions, it can help you determine the “reserve” value. Secondly, a qualified buyer can use the appraisal to get a loan from his/her bank, and other lending institutions, to assist in buying your vehicle (many financial institutions will loan up to 80% of our appraised value).
TIP: We also will offer suggestions that can increase the value and/or salability of your vehicle.
